Your information, explained.

The homepage and brief company overviews are public. Sign-in is required for detailed company dashboards, favourites and the correction service. Privacy information, terms and the sign-in page also remain available without signing in. This notice covers the website's own application; the hosting and sign-in providers also process information under their applicable arrangements.

Who is responsible?

Alfred Charles McCullen (known as Alfie), operating this site as an individual in the United Kingdom, is responsible for the personal information used to run its correction service. No limited company is identified as the operator.

Privacy and data requests: alfiebusinessfundimentals@gmail.com. Use this address for questions, objections, access, correction or deletion requests. No completed ICO registration number is asserted here.

Request my personal data by email · Request deletion by email

These links open your email app; review and send the message yourself. You can make a request without using these links or signing in. Include enough information to find your records; do not send identity documents unless proportionate verification is requested.

Notes saved on this device

Pershing research notes are held in this browser's local storage under psh-thesis-versions-v1, separately from account-linked reports. They can remain after sign-out and may be visible to someone else using this browser.

Remove notes from this browser

This affects only this browser and this site. Export first if needed. Other browsers and previously downloaded files are unaffected.

Your company favourites

When you favourite a company, we store its identifier and the date saved against your site account so your shortlist is available across devices. Your shortlist is private to your account through the website; other visitors cannot view or edit it. It stays saved until you remove the companies.

Manage or remove favourites · Download my favourites (sign-in required).

Removing a favourite deletes that selection from the live database. Report-data deletion and browser-note controls are separate from favourites. Contact the operator for broader account-data deletion requests. We do not send your saved shortlist to Google Analytics.

Our interests are balanced against privacy by limiting collection, restricting access, separating public corrections from original reports, and providing deletion and objection routes. You can object by contacting us.

We do not ask for investment portfolios, income, identity documents, health information or payment details. Do not include sensitive, confidential or third-party personal information in reports. Fields intended for published corrections should contain factual company information only. We do not sell personal information or use submissions for targeted advertising.

Providing account identification and report details is necessary to submit and follow a report; you can read this privacy notice and the site terms without signing in. There are no automated decisions about suitability, credit or investment recommendations. The application does not call an AI fact-checking service. Optional Google Analytics is described below. Any future AI processing or further collection will require review and updated information before introduction.

Who sees information?

The site owner can review reports. Signed-in readers can access their own reports. Other readers see only owner-approved public notices and verified fix entries: the metric, company page, period, previous and proposed values, publication date, public evidence URL and owner's explanation. Original private report explanations and account identifiers are not automatically included in that log. The owner reviews the public evidence URL before publishing.

The site uses OpenAI Sites/ChatGPT for publication and authentication, and Cloudflare Workers and D1 for application hosting and report storage. Relevant platform support and infrastructure providers may process information to deliver, secure or troubleshoot those services. If you email us, the email service providers also handle that correspondence. Necessary disclosures may be made to professional advisers or authorities for a specific legal obligation or claim; we do not routinely share a mailing list.

Provider information: OpenAI's Europe privacy policy · Cloudflare privacy policy. Provider policies describe their own processing; they do not replace this notice or establish the exact contract for this site.

International processing and verification limits

Providers operate internationally, so processing may take place outside the UK. The exact database region, applicable processor agreements, transfer safeguards and platform backup/log retention for this deployment have not yet been confirmed by the operator. We therefore do not promise UK-only storage, a particular transfer mechanism or immediate removal of every provider copy. Contact us for the current information. These arrangements remain an operator verification task.

How long information stays

If a backup is restored, deletion requests and the retention policy must be reapplied before restored records are put back into active use.

Optional Google Analytics

Updated 23 October 2026. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand visits, traffic sources, device/browser information and use of company pages. Google receives analytics requests and uses browser identifiers to distinguish visits. We do not send your account identifier, email, private reports or saved research notes in our analytics configuration. Page URLs supplied by our integration omit query parameters and fragments; referring URLs are reduced to their origin. The tag is not loaded on private report, privacy, audit or verification pages.

Choose Accept analytics or Reject analytics in the banner. Rejecting does not restrict access. The Google tag is blocked until you accept, and advertising consent stays denied. Use Analytics settings to change your choice. Rejecting after acceptance disables collection, clears accessible Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page to unload the tag; this does not erase information already processed by Google.

Your choice is stored in this browser under bf-analytics-consent-v1 for up to 180 days. Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) are configured for up to 180 days without automatic renewal. Clearing browser storage or using another browser or hostname may require a new choice. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice may last only for the current page.

Google is an additional analytics provider and may process information internationally. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Analytics property retention and account-level data-sharing settings are managed separately in Google Analytics; their exact settings have not yet been verified. The site owner should review these settings. Contact our privacy email for requests involving previously collected analytics data; the report-data download and deletion controls do not cover Google's records.

Cookies and browser storage

Company datasets and report APIs are fetched from this site's origin. Optional Google Analytics loads only after you accept analytics. We have not added advertising, session replay or fingerprinting tools.

ChatGPT sign-in and hosting may use cookies or other technologies for authentication and security. Their actual browser behaviour and expiry periods have not been independently verified for this deployment. This notice does not claim that all provider storage has been audited.

The report form temporarily saves an unfinished draft and retry reference in this tab’s session storage so a sign-in interruption or network error does not lose your work or duplicate a submission. The draft is removed after a successful submission, when you choose Discard draft, or when the tab’s session ends; drafts older than 24 hours are discarded when the form next loads. Drafts are sent to the server only when you submit.

The optional research-note feature writes local storage only when you save a note. It restores those notes when that feature loads. You can download or remove them above. We do not upload these browser notes through the report service. External source links take you to websites governed by their own policies.

Browser settings can restrict storage, but this may prevent sign-in or saved notes from working. You can change your optional analytics choice using the Analytics settings button on any page.

Your rights and requests

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where consent applies, you can withdraw it. These rights have legal conditions and exceptions.

Contact alfiebusinessfundimentals@gmail.com. We normally respond within one month; where the law permits extra time or verification, we explain what is needed. The instant download and deletion tools cover live report data only and do not limit your wider rights.

You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. You do not have to contact us first, though we welcome the opportunity to resolve an issue.

This general company-information service is not designed to collect children's personal information. Please do not submit details about children. We review new uses and changes to this notice before introducing additional collection.

Your account · Corrections · Terms & editorial approach

Evidence discussions and published corrections

Updated 20 October 2026. Reporters and the owner can exchange private evidence replies. These replies, their timestamps and review decisions are included in your report export and deletion controls, and expire with the private report after 365 days without activity. The owner can delete spam reports earlier, removing the private report, its discussion and owner alerts together. Spam deletion is unavailable for reports linked to a published correction or verified fix.

After accepting evidence, the owner separately reviews the public wording and publishes a dated company correction notice and correction-log entry together. Published fields are the company page, metric, period, earlier and corrected values, evidence URL, explanation and publication date. Published editorial records do not store your account identifier or private discussion and remain after private report deletion or expiry. Do not include personal information in fields intended for publication; contact alfiebusinessfundimentals@gmail.com if a published record contains personal information.

Correction notices amend the identified statement on the page. Underlying tables and derived calculations require a separate source update. Reports are reviewed by a human; AI training or automated fact-checking is not connected.

Owner report alerts

New submissions and reporter evidence replies create an owner-only alert containing the report reference, event type, timestamp and read status. Alerts are deleted with the private report, including on expiry. The application displays these alerts on the site. The owner notification recipient is alfiebusinessfundimentals@gmail.com; email delivery is pending connection of a sending service and sender address. Once enabled, Resend will process the owner’s destination address, a generic event description and a protected report link; report text and reporter account details are not included. Delivery status and provider references are stored with the private alert. Messages already dispatched to the owner’s inbox and provider logs are separate from live report deletion.
